Brasils Churches

The top two photos are of churches are in Maceio, in North East Brazil, the small blue one is on the way to Porto Alegre from Santa Cruz, and there is an old one in Santo Amaro, built 1698. The last one is in
Torres, Rio Grande do Sul, also quite old.

Today we went to Rio Pardo for a fish lunch at the Costaneira floating restaurant an the banks of the Rio Jaqui with Neiva's mother, Dona Francisca, and her Aunt, Tia Ismeria.
I took photos of several of the old churches and houses in the town. Very Portuguese style

The Start

I have decided to share some of my experiences with you to tell of what life in Brazil is like. I want you to meet my Gaucho friends I have here in the south and sense the flavours and smells of Latin America as I see it, with its rhythm, songs and sights.
I will be putting up some photos of the country, mainly of the people, the mountains, canyons, sunsets, beaches and old churches, one sees in Rio Grande do Sul.

I hope you enjoy them and please leave me a comment if you want.
